Korikomics- Kalim and Jamil Put Kuzco in a Box

Kalim and Jamil Put Kuzco in a Box is a comic in which Kalim Al-Asim and Jamil Viper pull off a plot to kidnap Kuzco and return him to Yzma. Because they, for their own reasons, can't stand that guy.

Why are they doing this? Why are they going so hard on it? Why does it seem so personal? It's not personal, you're crazy. It's just the principle of the thing.

The story starts in the middle, there is no formal formatting. Drawings come and go as I doodle, dialogue could be written or typed (I will try to retype text for accessibility since so much of this isn't planned legible paneling), and this is purely to satisfy my own brain worms. Truly, we ball. It's about Kuzco being put in the box, at the end of the day.

Art of this already exists, I am just slowly adding the archive, adn will continue from there (Aug. 24,2026)

Invasion of personal, private space Even in canon the amount to which Kalim invades Jamil's safe spaces (despite it being nonmalicious and honestly in good nature) has actively triggered me, so I'm saying he does a lot of that early on in the timeline. He gets better. I love Kalim, that trait of his actively upsets me.
Normalized Trauma Exposure- On the other side of the coin Kalim also underplays his own bad situations so much that the downplaying itself can be triggering. They're both probably going to downplay some "logically" terrible situations, but Kalim is going to be the most upbeat about it.
The Main characters featured are Victims of Heinous Behaviors- This is a short-hand I use for people who've been through a lot at other's hands. Calling what they went through the results of heinous behaviour acknowledges how bad the situations were, but also acknowledges they may not have been a single act or condition. It also holds space for the perpetrator to not be the focus of the heinousness, since most people who cause that harm are more complicated than just heinous. Unfortunately for these two they tend to be in a cycle of hurting eachother over and over again for reasons that are to a degree...ut of their control. So they take what control they can. And they don't have that right now.
